Home Energy Grants Advisor
This full-time, in-house role is integral to ensuring that the day-to-day operations run effectively and efficiently.
Your day-to-day duties will include working with the technical sales team, coordinate schedules, arranging BERs and Technical Assessments. As the first point of contact for the Company a history with phone and email correspondence is key. Applicants for this position will need exceptional organisation and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer inbound phone calls from homeowners and industry professionals.
• Advise customers on how to begin their home energy upgrade journey.
• Explain available grants, eligibility criteria, and the application process in a clear and accessible way.
• Working closely with industry professionals such as BER assessors, Builders, Architects etc.
• Guide callers on next steps, including internal handovers to relevant teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers feel informed and supported.
• Accurately log customer information, and outcomes in internal systems.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Stay up to date with changes to grants, energy upgrade offerings, and internal processes.
Skills & Experience
• Strong communication and phone-based customer service skills.
• Ability to explain technical or process-driven information in simple terms.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple enquiries.
• Confident using CRM systems or internal databases (training provided).
• Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or home energy efficiency (desirable).
• Previous experience in customer service, advisory, call handling, or similar roles is an advantage.
