Job description
Super opportunity available in Wexford for a Logistics Coordinator.
This role will suit someone with a high level of Customer service , highly organised and a proven team player.
Role~;
- Provide the highest standard of customer service to all clients in an efficient and timely manner.
- Supporting Sales Team on freight quotes and information requests
- Adding freight rates to live Sales Orders on NAV
- Ensure chosen quote is noted (value and chosen carrier)
- Ensure chosen quote is still valid at time of invoicing – if not CR team should be notified
- Coordinate Outbound Shipments
- Arranging collection of shipments with our chosen carriers or EXW carriers.
- Inform internal departments of collections. Provide warehouse team with required information, paperwork and requirements for collection.
- Prepare and Issue Weekly Shipping Plan
- Host and Manage daily Teams Shipping Call and weekly LBE call
- Email customer’s with paperwork when required
- Management of Company’s Sales Order Board
- Working closely with planning/ CR Team to estimate monthly sales figure, working closely with finance on credits, discounts and invoiced figures, alteration of SOB based on planning/ CR Teams advise
- Invoice Sales Orders from NAV
- Ensure Sales Invoices are invoiced from NAV on day of despatch + within “month end” requirements, Ensure Sales Invoices are added to customer folders
- Preparation of all Export Documents
- COO, ATR, EUR1 – ensuring a saved copy is available in customers folder, along with relevant AWB, B/L
- Complete and issue Dangerous Goods Notes for shipments when required
- Ensure pallets, cartons and DG Notes comply with IATA/ARD/IMDG regulations.
- Manage Courier Shipments
- Obtain courier quotes, arrange courier shipments, track shipments if required, note shipments on Courier Excel sheet
- Attend weekly Production Planning meeting
- Point of Contact for Gate, Front Door and Phone
- Supply training to new and existing employees in line with business needs
- Engage in continually developing World Class practices while driving out costs, waste (both time and materials) and inefficiencies.
- Coordinate and complete special projects and other duties as assigned
- Work in a team orientated environment across all departments, contributing to problem solving and idea generation
- Conform to Company guidelines in respect of GMP, Housekeeping and Health & Safety protocols
