EHS Officer – Waterford – Permanent Role

EHS Officer is responsible for implementing all day to day EHSS activities on a busy Waterford manufacturing site.

Duties

• Active Implementation of EHSS Management system for Waterford facility operations
• Work with the existing EHSS team to ensure ongoing compliance with the EHS progra
• Execution of a systematic approach to risk assessments ensuring appropriate mitigation of risk. Working with senior operations managers and existing EHSS team to ensure the EHSS programs are effective and up-to-date
• Oversight of internal systems to support incident case management, risk assessments, EHS inspections and internal and external auditing
• Ensure corrective actions and preventative actions are managed through to completion
• Direct involvement and day to day management of EPA related activities

Requirements / Desirable

• Third Level qualification in Safety Health and Welfare desirable
• Energy Management & Environmental Management Qualification.
• Experience required in large scale manufacturing facility is essential.
