EHS Advisor – Contract Cork

12 Month EHS Advisor contract role on site in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing enviornment.

You will need a technical tertiary Degree and EHS experience (not construction safety) in a regulated manufacturing environment, ideally pharma.
Machine safety experience would be advantageous.

Role:

• Conduct EHS Impact Assessments (IA) as part of Management of Change process to ensure that all EHS requirements
• Implement  ‘EH&S by Design’ as required for selected project
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs & 3D model review
• In addition support  noise /IH/ergonomics / WRAPs (machine safety) assessments
• Support FATs / SATs as required
• Participate in W1 / W3 / Care Custody & Control walkdowns as part of project closeout
• Support IA action closure & tracking
• Perform periodic walkdowns / audits / programme reviews to ensure compliance with IED licence, SOPs & regulatory requirements.
• ESSENTIAL:
  A relevant third level qualification in Science, Engineering or EHS, with at least 5 years’ experience in the environment, health and safety area is a prerequisite for the position.
• Good overall knowledge of legal requirements and best practices in both Environment and Safety

Creates dashboards, power-point presentations and can track and trend KPI’s, assembling information into clearly written reports, documented findings or recommendations and communicate this progress in easily understandable manner to all stakeholders.

DESIRABLE:

• Machine safety experience/qualification would be a distinct advantage
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills
• A flexible approach, good priority setting skills and ability to deal with multiple tasks
